CATALYST Training Lab completed a unique and a First-Timer training program for Dubai Health Authority dietitians on Nutrition Focused Physical Assessment in a Hands-on format on real patients at the Dubai Hospital. The training consisted of multiple modules with assessments to provide technical skills for DHA dietitians in their quest to conduct physical assessment on patients from a nutriitonal perspective. This training was a first of its kind to be done in the Middle East, and its recommendations are being integrated into the policy manuals of patient management at the Dubai Health. The training provided the dietitians and the administration an opportunity to expand their quality of service to their patients, making Dubai Health the first in the whole region to officially implement those skills in a systematic manner as part of common practice.
